Mother's Day '08 and short update

Great day with my mom. Mimosas by the pool in the morning, and then pina coladas as the sun drifted across the sky. We snacked on tapas for lunch and then my dad and I made dinner for my mom. Ended the day with the movie 27 Dresses.

It really made up for yesterday which was quite shitty. I'm so fed up with Floridian drama, it's so passive aggressive. In California, if they're a bitch, at least they're outwardly bitchy (even if it is behind your back). As Captain Jack Sparrow puts it:
"A dishonest man you can trust to be dishonest... Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they’re going to do something incredibly... stupid."
I need a vaca from it all. So in addition to my annual trip to Sacramento, CA to by a Councilor for American Legion Boys State (June 20th - 28th), I will also be out of the state from June 3rd - 8th.

Diploma's being framed, I didn't realize how expensive professional shadow boxes and matting costs. Will have those back by the end of the month to hang.

My A+ Cert test is on Wednesday.

My final essay for Comp II is due on Tuesday.

Monday and Wednesday finals are next week (19th & 21st).

Crunch time, here we go!
